Does anyone know of any privileging software that can be used to let staff know what privileges a provider has? I have heard of some systems that let them look up this information through their web browser but cannot seem to find any of them on the Internet.

Mark,
I'm not sure specifically about privileging software. A few years ago I was looking for something similar when trying to get a series of neighborhood Health Centers ready for JCAHO Accreditation.

After the process was complete, I stumbled upon a company (at a convention) that puts out medical staffing software. I have copies of a staffing scheduler and a Human Resources software program specifically designed for the medical community.

Address: ABS (Atlas Business Solutions)
3330 Fletchner Dr. SW
Fargo, ND 58103
Phone: 701-235-5226
Fax: 701-280-0842

Good luck. Hope this doesn't reach you too late to be helpful.
Cherie

Glad you asked! Medkinetics has a fantastic web-driven product which includes all of the Core Privileging content AND Specialty Privileging capability.

Other departments can access the Privileges using their Web Browser - eliminating the need for an internal network connection if more than one facility is used!

Call me at 615-503-1914, or visit our website at www.privileging.com
