When I was eighteen years old living in Jerusalem I had two eye operations. One was for a wandering eye and the other was for a weak eyelid. They decided to give me a local instead of general and the day before the operation two eighteen-year-old girls who were hospital staff told me to lie on the table and they tied my hands and feet to an EKG machine and had trouble putting suction cups on my chest. They kept pressing as hard as they could and it hurt. Then they asked me if I knew what they were going to do to me and I said no and they said it was their secret and they giggled. I didn't know at that point what an EKG machine was. I soon found out that they were checking my heart. Then they said goodbye and left me tied up until a Doctor came 30 minutes later to release me. I don't know protocols for EKG people but I am sure they didn't act the way they should have. robertstyles@hotmail.com

What was wrong with the way the two EKG girls behaved when conducting the EKG?

The Doctor had just given me a physical and I was wearing my pajama bottoms and socks and no shirt and when the two girls came in they told me to take off my pajama bottoms and socks. The Doctor said no to that and told me to do everything they told me and then he left. They told me to lie down and they put straps on each ankle and each wrist connecting me to the EKG Machine. I wanted to run out of the room after they hurt my chest putting on the suction cups and asked me if I knew what they were going to do to me and told me it was their secret when I said no but the straps on my ankles and wrists kept me right where I was.
