Most people smoke, not because they really want to. But because they are addicted. Nicotine is an addictive drug that your body comes to rely on, when you use it for 2-3 times, and which then carve our body.

Every time you inhale a cigarette smoke, nicotine is absorbed through the skin and to your mouth and nose, resulting in peak levels of nicotine in your bloodstream and brain. Within 10 second of inhalation, the effect reaches at your brain.

More than anything and anyone else, its you who can Help to stop smoking , in yourself. Make yourself aware that it’s for your own goodness, all these things are done.

For smokers, to Stop Smoking is really a tough action to take. Majority of smokers want to quit smoking, but find it difficult to do so as nicotine is very addictive and hard to get rid off. There are two factors that will determine your success in quitting smoking for good. They are:
* Will - You must have the desire to give up your habit of smoking and create a strong will to avoid a smoking relapse.
* Mindset – You must learn about the effects of smoking, understand its consequences and face the fact that you need to stop smoking and follow, finish and maintain a quit smoking plan. cool

I have a friend who can't stop smoking.
He tried not to smoke for one week and when we saw him, he's already thin and pale. He knows it's bad for his health but he just can't stop.

yes, I read it. I wonder if he already opened the link. I sent him the link last week after reading one of your comments. Somehow I haven't seen him smoking or maybe he just doesn't want me to see it.

Useful tips:

Make an honest list of all the things you like about smoking.
Then make another list of why quitting won’t be easy.
Set a quit date
Write all your reasons for quitting on an index card
As you’re getting ready to quit, stop buying cartons of cigarettes.
Keep a list of when you smoke, what you’re doing at the time
Prepare a list of things to do when a craving hits.
When your quit date arrives, throw out anything that reminds you of smoking.
Instead of a cigarette break at work, play a game of solitaire on your computer.
Switch to a cup of herbal tea whenever you usually have a cigarette.
Switch your cigarette habit for a nut habit
Carry some cinnamon-flavored toothpicks with you.
Make an appointment with an acupuncturist.
Swing by the health food store for some Avena sativa (oat) extract.
Think of difficult things you have done in the past.
To minimize cravings, change your routine.
If you relapse, just start again.
Put all the money you’re saving on cigarettes in a large glass jar.
Switch to decaf until you’ve been cigarette-free for two months.
Create a smoke-free zone.
Find a healthy snack food
Picture yourself playing tennis.
Quit when you’re in a good mood.
Post this list in a visible location in your house.

I hope it will work..
