A balanced diet would consist of high protein and low carb with soups, salads, boiled veggies, juices and fruits along with nuts too. Curd and soya are essential too. All this is high energy and less on fats too.

Make sure you are aware of what kind of weight you are putting on. Fat, muscle, water...it's important to know the difference. Body fat monitors are great for this reason. Here's a good article about monitoring body fat - http://www.quickmedical.com/health_information/weight_management/controlling_your_weight.html

The food that you eat is very essential. You cannot do harm to your body by eating all the wrong kinds of things which might affect your health. Eat fruits, lot of fresh vegetables and low calorie diet as well. Drinking lots of water is also a must.

Food is very important in our daily life but we should know what types of food we are eating. The food which are high in fats and calories can cause many health problems so its better to avoid such foods. You can eat lots of fruits and veggies they are very good for health.

Due to busy life, nobody likes to cook food but depend fast foods. It is a worst habits among new generation to eat junk foods which are unhealthy. It is good to intake more vegetables and fruits to keep your body healthy and live without any diseases.

Diet pills do have side effects, some are dangerous. The best way to loose weight is to eat healthy low fat foods and exercise. Only fools believe that taking a pill will cure everything.

Consume More Calories, protein, Carbohydrate and fats(good).
The best approach to an effective weight gain diet is to eat 5 or 6 small meals a day. Separate them by 3 hours so your stomach has time to digest each meal fully. If your goal is to consume 3300Kcals a day I would eat 3 larger meals of about 700kcals and 3 smaller meals of about 400kcals.

Curd and soybeans are also essential. All this is high energy and less fat too. Doctor advised me to take a meal high in calories and also to increase the number of food intake. The food you eat is very essential.

No Doubt that Soya bean is also important . I would say that we need to eat foods that do not contain fats .
